I’m a female but I felt compelled to answer. My thyroid is very hard to stabalize and when it bounces around I lose my hair. I would say I have 25% less then before this nightmare started, when it is really bad 40% less. It falls out all over, but it is most noticeable at my part. It is not so bad that people really notice I don’t think? But, my husband knows when I am in a time of lsoing hair again, he points out how my hair is thinning. It sucks. Totally freaks me out. The worst part is if your thyroid levels move outside of normal it takes at least 6 weeks to get it back in line, and sometimes longer, and so that is weeks more of losing hair at fast rates even when you know something is wrong and you are trying to correct it.
Oh, and my husband has beautiful thick, black, wavy hair. Awful when your husband has better hair than you. Not that I wish him bad hair, I just want my to be more fantabulous than his. But, it never was anyway.
