Is there a good website that has guitar chords for popular songs?

“Great Question” (2points)

I’m trying to learn some basic songs on acoustic guitar, especially popular songs so I can attempt to cover them. Are there any sites with some good collections of music? I don’t mind if I have to pay for sheet music.

You can try ultimate-guitar

Yeah, ultimate-guitar, otherwise I Google ”[whatever song name] chords” and usually find success.

guitaretab.com is also a good one.

Bahh @Michael_Huntington beat me to it. Ulimate-guitar is a hugely vast website. Ranging from tabs, to chords, to lyrics and bass tabs. I often find most of the tab wrong, but I usually use most of the tabs there as reference points, then I do the rest by ear.

A fourth vote for ultimate-guitar.com. It’s the best tab/chord site out there.

I fifth vote for Ultimate Guitar. I like it because you can transpose a song if the chords are too hard, just choose “up/down # steps” in the drop down menu to get it where you can easily play it or sing it comfortably.

Yes, Ultimate-guitar is awesome. Also, if you want a video tutor, you can try www.justinguitar.com. This guy is really good, and a great teacher too. He teaches chords, and even shows you how to play certain songs.
