The first mobile I had was an ancient, bulky brick that went from my dad, to my older brother, to me. I was not happy with it as sending text messages was difficult, its size made it impossible to keep in my pocket, and it lacked an option to check e-mail (which I need.) When I was a sophomore, my dad bought me a new one. It’s three years old now and I wouldn’t mind replacing it, but it’s not necessary.
I know people who purchase new phones on a regular basis. I don’t understand that.
