Even rounding up, the pics of the people shown for my height and weight look thinner than I am right now. I believe a difference in bone mass makes this difference because though a lot of women I know are also 5’2” tall and my weight, my bones are a lot smaller and my weight looks puffier. Lucky me.
@Neizvestnaya I think it usually has more to do with muscle mass more than small bones vs big. I am not taying bones don’t come small and big, but I think small boned people with a lot of weight look big boned, so it is deceptive. I am not saying you are fat, I have no idea how much you weigh, only that the people in the photos might have more muscle mass.
@JLeslie: Right now I’ve 130lbs on my 5’2” frame. I’ve always been smaller boned that most people and I look puffy FAT face & arms compared to the pics of women on this chart.
@Neizvestnaya I just looked up your height weight on the link and I would expect most women to look like the last photo. The few at the top are more muscular than most women I think, they look likenthey work out.
Too short!! The woman in the 5’1’, 160 lbs looks pretty good for her weight. Most of my weight has made me look like a ‘way too old for it’ pregnant woman.
For women, there are women who are bottom heavy and women who are top heavy. I can look at a woman who weighs the same as I do, and if she is top heavy and I am bottom heavy, we will have totally different pants and shirt sizes. I have friends built like a football player, but with thin legs. I am more shaped like a pear. There’s a big difference in size and appearance between football player and pear-shape.
@hiphiphopflipflapflop Your first two links are the same. Your last link, the weight you want to be, is too thin in my opinion. Don’t go less than 180. Just my opinion.
