Wow !!! He’s got the Power! Congrats on the 40 k!
I’ve learned a lot from you! Thanks! I still smile when I think of you saying you wrote a “short grease monkey script”. I had no idea what that was. A play? an exercise routine? a song? a car service manual? Not a clue!
Thanks to you, now I get it. (It’s a recipe for disaster.)
Aint no question about it, he is up there at the top! We bow down to that 40K greatness and only dream of ever reaching there! Well done and here’s to the next 40!!!!!
Bring out the champagne!
This site just wouldn’t be Fluther without you. Congrats on the big Four-oh. You give out so much helpful advice. I don’t think we could live without you around.
Well, at least I’m not that late crashing this party! I come bearing gifts. 200 barrels of beer, each of them with a dancing Victoria’s Secret model on top, wearing bikinis designed by Apple. ( Not Victoria’s Secret. Yeah. That’s right. Apple designed bikinis. )
“I’m just here to wind the eggheads up!”
I remember being thoroughly chastised by “johnny-boy” for that off the record remark, deservedly so…......well done old bean :¬)
One of my favorite Oragonians. Stay dry friend.
I wish I understood half (even a quarter) of what you do about computers. I admire your selflessness in helping people figure out their computer issues (as long as they’re not ass holes. )
I am especially impressed that you made 40K since it seems you haven’t been around as much lately. It shows that the quality of your answers are always “great” and appreciated by a diverse group of jellies.
40,000 Lurves in one place, and we still don’t know exactly what a Lurve is or how anyone in their right mind can gather that many. Congratulations from a fellow nutcase gathering Lurves, albeit far less successfully.
I almost missed this party. Is there any punch left? Congratulations, John. Now maybe they’ll give you the key to the back door of the mansion, so you can sneak in at night.
Congrats @johnpowell, I’m glad you’ve decided to stick around (off and on) for so long! You’re one of the first people I ever knew here and I hope you don’t leave us anytime soon. Keep on keepin’ on! :-)
I remember being so impressed with the Jelly map you made that I kept a link to it on my computer, which meant I was frequently able to share it when someone asked about it (never taking credit though)... I think that pissed you off, so sorry about that! That is a couple of years ago now though, so if you’re willing to forgive, do please take another congratulations from me on the 40K! :-)
