I took a class on Stained Glass once, and I had really looked forward to it. However, it didn’t occur to me until I took it that anything involving glass has the risk of tiny shards of glass getting into your fingers, and the thought of that, combined with the fact that the course was in the middle of winter at night, and it was free so I had nothing to lose by dropping it, so I dropped it.
Recently, a coworker does jewelry making (beading, specifically) and he was going to teach me, so I bought all this beading stuff, tools, beads, etc., but have not actually sat down and tried anything. I guess it’s easier to do what I know, which is decoupage, than to take out the tools and notions and scratch my head over the beading. I will get to it but just not any time soon. All the beading stuff is waiting for me to come around!
