Where do I put weatherstripping on a door?
I need to put weatherstripping on a door from the outside to my bedroom. Do I put it around the outside of the door edge or somewhere on the interior frame?

I have only seen it on the interior frame, between the frame and the door. Are you doing the whole thing or just the bottom?
I thought the whole thing.
This Home Depot video gives you a good how-to.
It should be on the side that faces the weather so put it on the outside.
I may have my friend come over and advise me too.
I didn’t look at the video but I would say on the outside. If there is a gap between the bottom of the door and the door sill then if on the outside it prevents rain spray or snow from getting under the door. I don’t think I have ever seen it going around the entire door. Does your door fit that badly? If it does I would use the kind that goes on between the door and the frame, I am not sure if that is clear, so that it would not be visible from either side. Does that make it more clear?
