“Great Question” (1points)

Who’s next on the US hit list?
Can we handle both at the same time?
Which poses an actual threat to the US homeland (if either)?
Can we even afford to go to war anymore?
Who do you go to and say “We’d like to borrow umpteen trillion for a war please”?

Why don’t we pay for the last couple before starting another?

Neither, it’s Syria.

Iran is more threatening and more dangerous to American interests, not because of the threats to Israel but because of their hatred for the Saudis and the Arab Emirates. North Korea is only a real threat to South Korea. But the neo-Hermit Kingdom would not have China’s support if they start anything, and having no food to feed a marching army, would most likely not fare as well as they did in 1950.

Syria is the known unknown, to quote Donald Rumsfeld. Assad has no qualms and no willingness to move to a haven with his money, so he is the wild card.

Oh yeah, we have oil;

and guns and rednecks who are itching for a fight and will use them with little provocation.
