“Great Question” (3points)

Swimming, surfing, water-skiing, diving, boating… What SFW water sports rev up your engine? And not to worry if the question brought a spicier version of watersports to mind. If you have that sort of sport to exhort, then you want the NSFW version of this question.

Fishing, duck hunting.

This is more like it! I love to canoe on different lakes and follow the feeder stream upstream. You have to be careful and make a little noise because you don’t want to startle a bear. They don’t handle surprise well.

The only reason I’m not using the canoe now is that doves built nests on the seats and I have to wait until their babies fly away.

I joined the Royal Army for the water skiing…

I love kayaking, but haven’t done it since I was a kid.

I like to swim, farting in the bath is a lot of fun too, especially when you have little minature war boats in there with you…“fire in the hole!”

I love snorkeling in Hawaii, just float on the surface and watch the fish and turtles, complete relaxation.

Swimming and floating in a pool.

Haven’t done it in years, but I enjoyed riding a tube tied to a boat – tubing

I like the feeling I get after a nice clean shower.

Oh man, well…

I was a little white water babe for years. I live near some of the best, premiere rivers in Northern CA. I bought my first raft at 16 and was captainess, towing along my timid friends and shooting the rapids and picking up Jesuit boys for a little rifflely makeout action. lol
I also loved swimming, swam many raging rivers, and, riding my horse on trails and both of us swimming together.

Sublime!

Later, I would take my beloved goose ” Marwyn” to the local lakes and rivers and we would swim together.
He also loved going in my hot tub. haha
Yep, remember the old Grateful dead tune “Sugar Magnolia”?
That’s my song…..*saw my baby down by the river….”

These days I’d probably sink like a stone, but good memories.
I did hit the rapids in an inner tube a couple summers ago, sooo…I may be an old broad but I still float just fine. ;-)

@WestRiverrat Never been duck hunting but I did love fishing and crabbing as a kid.

@Ron_C That was sounding truly idyllic till you came to the part about bears not liking surprises.

@bookish1 I never had the opportunity to learn to kayak, but just watching it, I know I would love it.

@ucme You ignite the bubbles as they come up?

@zenvelo Oh man, that sounds beautiful.

@cookieman I love swimming and body surfing ever to this day. I never tried tubing but watching people do it, I know I’d love it.

@LuckyGuy Sounds like good clean fun.

@Coloma I’m much more buoyant today than I was as a rail-thin, skin-and-bones teenager. But I’ve loved swimming and the water, boating, since I was old enough to walk.

I love to swim and dive. I prefer pools to oceans or lakes, though.

Snorkeling is big fun… in the tropics where it’s warm.

I used to be good at body-surfing, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been near waves worth planing on.

Sailing, especially if it’s not a very busy body of water.

@ETpro I have the unfortunate ability for finding bears. I don’t try, it just happens. My dog is no help. He sees a bear and stops walking and looks at me then walks back to the car or home if we are on our local trail.

I’m at my happiest when I’m near a body of water. I love swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, water skiing, knee boarding, tubing, boogie boarding, fishing. I feel like I’m leaving something out.

I remember getting blisters on the bottom of my feet from hoping around in the pool all day when I was young. My mother had a hard time keeping me out of the pool.

@augustlan Rivers or lakes have to be clean, or I’ll opt for a pool. But I dearly love the ocean having grown up in the Virginia Beach area. Up here, the water’s too cold to really enjoy for much of the year. So pools are cool here.

@Ron_C Man’s best friend doesn’t include being a fool. Smart dog. :-)

@jonsblond Same here. All of them… and there’s got to be some more.

swimming, diving, body boarding, snorkeling, any sport where I can be in the water.

I’m not a very strong swimmer but found that I rather enjoy Scuba Diving. I was one of the few in my class that didn’t need weights to achieve neutral buoyancy.
