I can honestly say that I have never gone outside and started jumping around uncontrollably due to joy. Does this really happen? If so, I am clearly missing out on something.
If any one of my three under or non employed relatives gets a full time job. It is getting very scary providing financial assistance for them.
Oh, wait, I just now did it, just because it feels great. It’s a beautiful 80 degrees, my grass is recently mowed, and I just finished a delicious cauliflower, onion, garlic and tomato salad.

As it happens, I am outside, on my deck under a blue sky, bright sunlight,a slight breeze, low humidity and 74˚ F. My knees don’t hold with jumping much these days, but my hearts feels light. And hark, there are several red-tailed hawks soaring on the thermals.

What saddened me this morning, on this perfect day, was the dead fledgling (thrush or veery) on my deck. He apparently flew into one of the glass sliders once too often.
@wildpotato: No, for several reasons. First, it’s been several years since this has happened and second, half my house is glass, so I would have to package everything up very much like a Christos wrapping.
My mom getting to go home. She’s been in the hospital, then nursing home, then back to the hospital for 5 months now. I may be jumping with joy next week.
