Is it weirder for a cartoon to have a bulge for their junk or to have a smooth section where there junk should be like they are a world of ken dolls?

“Great Question” (4points)

This seems to be most noticeable in super hero cartoons etc. as in most other cartoons pants leave room for the imagination to fill in junk.

If the junk makes a bulge, what are you gonna do. Compress it into a pancake? How can that be healthy?

I’m not exactly sure of the mecanics of drawing to accomodate or not accomodate a weiner? Sorry I can’t be of help.

This is for UCME, since he loves the term junk

When I was a kid I had several Action Men, our version of the G.I Joe.
He had a flush mould of plastic for a penis, bit like Donald Trump, but had a huge scar travelling across his cheek. So it was okay for the manufacturers to show violence, but not sex…interesting Mr.Bond.
@bunnyslippers I suspect that to be a lie of sorts.

I guess I’m going to have to error on the side of wanting a Superman or Wolverine to be, uh packing.

I miss the days when the biggest cartoon controversy was how scantily Betty Boop dressed.

For years I have heard about how Barbie has made girls feel insecure about their shapes compared to Barbie’s unrealistic statistics. Imagine how young boys would feel trying to compare to an anatomically correct Superman.

@filmfann – or heavens forbid, The Hulk.

@Seek_Kolinahr Some things you can never unsee…that mental image kinda scarred me…hahaha and to make it worse he rips his pants EVERYTIME

bunnyslippers's avatar

@Seek_Kolinahr The reason “The Hulk smash,” is probably because everything doesn’t grow proportionately…

As a young female comic book fan, I always felt bad for Bruce Banner’s shoes.

Smooth section? That’s ultra weird in my book!

Also, there is nothing wrong with a nice bulge

Oh look, the most rewarded answer on the thread was meant as a joke, considering my recent confirmation that I didn’t like the word…oh I see what you people did there.

bunnyslippers's avatar

@ragingloli Know what’s really funny about that mistake, it’s one of my pet peeves when I see people use there, their, or they’re wrong. I was new to the site and eager for stars and apparently wasn’t grammar conscious. I apologize fellow flutherians…
