Anyone else out there think Hosni Mubarak's going to be a dead man in a few days?

“Great Question” (2points)

What’s to protect him from assassination once he is released from prison during these tumultuous times in Egypt? Is it possible that is exactly why he is being released?

I doubt if he will be released “to the street”. I’m sure that like deposed dictators the world over he will find a relatively safe home somewhere. I’d bet somewhere in Saudi Arabia, for starters.

Ah but of course . . . As long as the “right” people are in control of the systems at the time of release . . .

They’ve been able to find a loophole every time it’s been discussed… Isn’t his release still very uncertain anyway?

how would I know? I only read newspapers.
all the news that’s [politically] fit to print.

Here’s how I’m betting:

He will be released and will travel to another country to seek asylum….
...where he will be assassinated about 2 months after his release.

I doubt he will ever be released. There are a lot more cases being made against him, besides this one for fraud.

@LuckyGuy Baby Doc did better than that.

It seems he is out after all…. :-/

just hope he’ll be back in soon.
