Fair Warning! This is my “For Dummies” type of answer, I don’t have any sources or links to back me up.
First off, to answer, yes. Sometimes vessels tighten during allergies to slow down blood flow so that white blood cells can concentrate on whatever/where the allergy is. The idea of this is so that allergy won’t spread through the body etc as the body reads and fights off venom, bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
So perhaps lack of blood flow from your allergies are causing the dizziness.
Hmm… My wife is a super-sensitive-allergy-prone-type
Typically her allergies come and go when she’s tired… and stagnant.
Question…
Are you working out? Are you getting at least 30 minutes of exercise a day? When my wife works out she almost never has allergies, even when doing hikes and park workouts. However, if she were not to work out, and just maybe drive by the same areas, she would probably get allergy symptoms and what not.
