The most interesting thing about watching something like this is that we get to watch how media works. I’m sure everyone has had the opportunity to check out how cnn.com is gushing over Clinton. It reads like a Clinton For President site. This is the media…in a “democracy” that is only as good as its media.
Let’s take a look at who funds Clinton: donor list. Time Warner, CNN’s parent company, is the 7th largest donor to Clinton ($500k).
While browsing this donor list, it’s interesting to hear Clinton talk now. She’s been pushed into adopting a platform that resemble’s Sanders’, and using language about how she will fight against wall street and big banks. This is a good thing, I suppose. But her career is financed by these things she is temporarily speaking out against.
If anyone’s interested in the largest Sanders’ donors, here is the list. Big difference.
It looks like the media and Democratic party is still going to go full-Clinton, so we’ll likely see her as the nominee. This guarantees a Republican president, however. Gone will be the enthusiasm and voter turnout. If Massachusetts isn’t close, I’ll just sit this one out. I don’t think I can get myself to vote for Clinton (or a Democrat) again. I’m not a Democrat, and the lesser of two evils thing is a tough thing to do in a state that is highly unlikely to go Republican.
