Why did using my iPhone for development mean I can no longer sync?

I downloaded the SDK and used the Xcode tool thing and tried to build an app to run on the iPhone, but now I don’t want to do that and my iPhone won’t connet with iTunes anymore. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I can’t restore, because I need it to appear in iTunes to do that!

Have you tried restarting?

Yep that’s fixed the issue with the Syncing, is there any way I can use both the iPhone for developing and sync with iTunes? I think i’ll just stick with the simulator for now…

Did you get approved for the Developer program? Did they take the 99$ from your bank account? I don’t think you can sync apps without having a developer key. That could be the problem.

I’m not talking about a normal ADC account you use to download the SDK. You have to be accepted to actually try the apps you write on your iPhone. (and I know that this practice is stupid)

Yeah I figured that’s why it didn’t work, I gave up on that but I was worried for a second there that my iPhone would need to be restored, and over USB… ugh so slow! Thanks for the help!
