Regarding chat: I’ve just kicked everyone from all of the various chat rooms to see if it fixes itself. Not all of the rooms were logging people out for being idle, so there might have been a bit of an overload. Anyone who was kicked will have to wait 24 hours before they can get back into the chat rooms (assuming the waiting period wasn’t changed when we switched servers), and I can’t even promise that this will work, but I figured it was worth trying something while we wait for Andrew to get back to us.
Regarding questions: A few jellies have reported being able to use the mobile site to ask questions even if they can’t ask questions on the desktop version of the site. I know it’s not ideal, but that might be a workaround for people who access the site both ways until we can fix the bug. We are interested in all reports of not being able to ask questions, so please keep letting us know. But it would also be helpful to tell us whether you are using the mobile version of the site or the desktop version. It looks like the problem is limited to the desktop version, so anyone having trouble asking questions on mobile should really let us know.
