Have you seen any good movies this holiday season?

Three I would like to see are Manchester by the Sea, Fences, and Jackie.

I have some free time today (New Year’s Day) and I have childcare so I’m debating. I also really like and appreciate staying home and doing stuff in the house and enjoying my abode.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was so much better than I expected it to be. I’m really glad we saw it in the theatre (thanks, Groupon!)

I’ve seen Fantastic Beasts and agree with @Seek that it was surprisingly well done, a nice addition to the Hogwarts canon.

I also saw Manchester By The Sea, which is well deserved fro all the praise it is getting. But it is not an upbeat movie.

I saw Blended on tv.
I realised that all of Adam Sandler’s best movies are the one’s with Drew Barrymore in them.

I saw “Manchester by the Sea” last month in the town where some of it was filmed. I found it depressing. My favorite viewing this season was OA on Netflix.

I just saw Manchester by the Sea the other night. I heard it was not a “feel good” movie but I did like it a lot. I love New England and I thought the acting and the story was great. Also my mom just passed away a few months ago so the subjects of death, dying and mourning were current for me.

Since I’m now on a “movie roll” I’m going to leave the house today and see “Jackie.”
