I mentioned this in a similar thread before. Guess I’ll repeat.
About 4 years ago, I was working on a tin roof (I do construction part time) on a house in downtown Charleston, on the peninsula. We were up about 4 stories, and the sky was clear blue. It was probably around 1pm, Decemberish…
At the time I was holding/anchoring a safety harness for a worker on a taller roof above me, so I was just standing there looking up for hours. I live near an airport, and airforce base, so there was plenty of air traffic to watch. Suddenly, I noticed an odd aircraft. It was silver, or very shinny. It reflected the Sun greatly. It was pretty much just a cylinder, or tube shape, with no wings or discernable cockpit or tail. It was at a much lower altitude than the other planes in the sky that day. It made no noise, and had no contrails, or exhaust trail. It covered the sky from east to west in about 9 seconds. I feel like I got a pretty good look at it. Just a shinning silver bar flying by…
I didn’t say anything about it at the moment. Later I told a coworker as we drove home. I thought about it all day. Replaying it over, and over. I just couldn’t convince myself that it was a plane. It didn’t seem to be caught in the wind, like maybe a weather balloon. It had a straight course. And appeared solid.
Eventually, I checked the Internet for photos of drones, and weather balloons. Nothing came close. Through my relentless investigation, I eventually stumbled upon a lot of UFOs that were a exact match. Almost all of the pictures were also in the daytime, which I thought was odd. I’m not saying that I saw a UFO,or aliens, but I saw something that I couldn’t explain. Like I said, the only thing I could compare it to were the “cigar,” or “cylinder” shaped UFOs on the net…
I’m very much a skeptic. But I just don’t know what I saw…
