Would you rather go camping at the beach, or in the woods?
I live close enough to the beach that the idea of camping there seems superfluous. I love to camp, and the idea of camping always involves the mountains, and the woods, and lakes. I enjoy going to the beach, but camping there doesn’t make any sense, since I can drive there virtually every single day, if I wanted to, and often do.
For those of you who don’t live right next to the beach, or the woods, which place would you rather camp?
What’s your ideal idea of camping? I would love to continue to tent camp, but the idea of sleeping on the hard ground, even with an inflatable mattress, sounds rather painful these days. I would really love to have a medium sized Airstream trailer to camp with. Not too big to tow, but big enough to have a decent place to sleep, and a cute, but functional little kitchenette.
