I still don’t fully understand the difference between jam, jelly, preserves, marmalade, and fruit spread, but I guess I prefer jam since there seem to be more flavors, and I like the seeds in berry-based jams.

I like jammin’ with my Jellies!

I guess I prefer jam, because it has more texture than jelly.

Marmelade.

I like jam on my toast, including marmalade which is a jam subset. But I like it pretty well mashed, I don’t like it when I scoop out huge lump of strawberry.

♫♪ Meomaybe Marmelade. ♫♪

I like jam because it is mores substantial than jelly, and doesn’t seem as fake.

Got to be jelly and grape jelly at that. Goes great with peanut butter.

I’m all about preserves.

I’ll take all @zenvelo‘s strawberry chunks.

@Dutchess III you missed “Lemon Curd”.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I did @Tropical_Willie? Doesn’t sound very good. What do you do with it.

You can have my strawberry chunks too @Muad_Dib. AND also, when I have strawberry shortcake, you can have my strawberries from that too. AND when I have pecan pie you can have my pecans.

I love honey with peanut butter @NomoreY_A.

Nutella is still the best.

Nutella is the nectar of the gods, no doubt.

Veggemite anyone?

Jam. I made watermelon jam a few years back when we lived on the farm and we had a huge garden. That was the best jam I ever tasted.

Neighbor lady brings us blackberry preserves, that gets my vote.

Jam. Blackberry, with the seeds. I tried a blueberry one, a few months ago. It was a little sweet, for my taste, but very good.
Apple butter, is pretty good. I don’t know if it is classified as jam, or jelly.

Apple butter is in a class unto itself! I remember the first time I had it. Mom and Dad had taken us to the Lake of the Ozarks and we got some there. It was heavenly.

Jam. Real fruit. One exception: I love quince jelly.

It’s all good. A friend of mine introduced me to fig jam with feta cheese on crackers. Oh my!
