Why does the air cool down so quickly in the desert?
As soon as the sun sets, it seems to get so much colder. Why is that?

There is less moisture in the desert air. Water vapor can hold onto the day’s heat and as it gets colder, it condenses, which releases its heat of vaporization.
No clouds to contain heat radiation from the sand.
Also the reason why cloudless nights are so cold.
Thanks, you two. Short and sweet.
