“Great Question” (1points)

I have Google set as my home page, but every time I turn around Bing wants to jump in and force me to use them as my search engine. I don’t like Bing. I don’t like the format. It doesn’t present as relevant information as Google. How do I disappear it?

Chrome on desktop?

in settings, scroll to “Search engine used in the address bar” and choose “Google”.

If you’re referring to my internet options (I use Firefox) I have Google set as my hope page….I don’t see an option that reads “Search engine used in the address bar” but I’ll go look some more.

Nope. Don’t see it.

Wait, isn’t your husbands nickname “Bing”?

enter “about:preferences#search” in the address bar, and on that page, select google as the default search engine.

Perfect @ragingloli. I also removed it from the list of alternative search engines. Yay. Thank you.

I now know where to find it in my internet settings, too.
Thanks.
