Is the "Ask a Question" broken in the desktop version again, or is it just me?

Tried to ask a question earlier and I couldn’t. Used two different browsers. Is it just me? Or are others having the same issue again too?

Switched over to the Mobile version, because I remembered last time this happened it only affected the Desktop site. Mobile works for me.

It just worked for me. But the last time this bug cropped up, it only ever affected a few members at a time and went away after a few days. I’m also not sure we ever figured out exactly what was going on. (We might have figured it out. But if so, I don’t remember it.)

I see, thank you! I’ll just wait for it to mysteriously start working again, haha. :)

I just tried and it wouldn’t let me. Grrrr….

Well at least I’m not alone!

You can always type https://i.fluther.com and ask a question through the mobile version of the site.

@Soubresaut didn’t work for me. :(

Only my smartphone works for asking questions.

:( My link above doesn’t work for me either.

But if I type the full address in like that for myself, it works? At least for me.

Or like @RedDeerGuy1 said, a smart phone.

My smartphone doesn’t work either for asking questions,

It’s not working I click “continue” (the 1st step) and nothing happpens. By the way, I’m using the desktop computer not the desktop version on a smartphone or tablet.

By the way, I don’t know what x days ago means though because if it’s 23 hrs and 59 minutes and 59 seconds it’s still x days ago. It is still x days /x months/ xyrs ago even if it,s a second before x+1 day right? Added: I’m thinking of how long ago the problem started.

I have just encountered this problem. I attempted to ask a question and nothing happens. I don’t have a mobile phone, only a desktop computer.

The following link should take you to the mobile version, even if you click on it from your desktop:

https://i.fluther.com/

Even though the link displayed by @Soubresaut looks identical to mine, the actual link location she posted is http://https//i.fluther.com

I’m not trying to be pedantic about this, it’s just that I was initially mystified why my link works and hers doesn’t, when they both appeared to be the same. .

^^ That’s bizarre, yours works for me, too. (I literally just typed the address into the textbox. Fluther made it a link). Anyway, thanks for the working link!

They,re not the same though. It seems the difference is an s . https and http

Ok, ignore my last post.

@Brian1946 the link in @Soubresaut is identical to yours, there is no http in hers/his either.

It (the regular site) started working few days ago, but today and yesterday, not.

I see the difference now between @Soubresaut‘s and @Brian1946‘s ifluther links. The forward slash at the end.
