“Great Question” (3points)

If yes then which one and did you feel it really was one of the best? Do you think any other site/ monument should be on that list?

What are the “new” ones?

You mean these?

The “New” Seven Wonders of the World
Chichen Itza, Mexico – Mayan City.
Christ Redeemer, Brazil – Large Statue.
The Great Wall, China.
Machu Picchu, Peru.
Petra, Jordan – Ancient City.
The Roman Colosseum, Italy.
The Taj Mahal, India.

I have been to the Coliseum in Rome.

I question this list, as Petra is ancient, and Christ Redeemer is a statue, and no more significant than the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower.

No, I haven’t seen them.

Only one of the original seven wonders of the world remains (The Great Pyramid of Giza).

I’ve been to the Colosseum in Rome quite a few times, but I haven’t been to any of the other countries on @zenvelo‘s list.

Wikipedia lists several others’ versions of what might be the seven wonders… which are much more numerous and many much easier – of those, I have seen:

Leaning Tower of Pisa
Ely Cathedral (nice, though I’ve seen quite a few more impressive cathedrals)
Empire State Building
Golden Gate Bridge
The Internet
The Grand Canyon (but only from the air)
The Polar Ice Caps (but only from the air)
Brooklyn Bridge

I vote for the internet.

For me, there are only 3 current wonders of the world.
The remnants of the lunar lander, on the moon.
The Large Hardon Hadron Collider.
Internet pornography.

LOL! I remember the original typo @ragingloli!

I have been to the Great Wall in China and the Colosseum in Rome. Both pretty amazing.

I agree with @Zaku that the list could be expanded.

The Duomo in the Piazza de Fiore in Florence, Italy is worth including.

I have seen the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, the Grand Canyon, the Golden Gate bridge, and the Great Wall of China.
I have seen several of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules, including the Apollo 11. The St. Louis arch was also quite impressive, as were the World Trade Center twin towers.
