A friend of mines job was to peel off the made in China labels off of tourist stuff for American tourists in a Canadian souvenirs shop.

Isn’t it ironic that the whole World would be hoping that the two “bad boys” would “behave” in Singapore and come to a peaceful conclusion?

Actually @imrainmaker , I’ve been hoping that when someone opens the door after the 2 hours spent in each other’s company alone, there would just be 2 lifeless bodies lying on the floor. I’m not holding my breath though.

There is a professor in my master’s class. She claims to know everything, from linguistics to foreign language. She was the top of her class. She also studied in Australia and has extensive exposure to several cultures.

I think it’s ironic that her mentality is still stuck in the 1960s. She has the same outdated mindset as the old people who have never got out of home in my neighborhood. And she genuinely thinks “cool” means “sexually attractive”, and deduces that it is because native English speakers like the cold.

Well, guess going abroad doesn’t necessary make you more mentally advanced right?
