I don’t really have a favorite but given the choice I usually opt for a burger over a steak and Jalapeno Cheese sausage over a burger. And, no, I don’t want to know what is in the sausage as long as it tastes good and is pleasing to the eye and nose.
Depends on my mood. When I want beef, I love a rib-eye steak. If I want seafood, I have a fondness for blackened tuna or shrimp’n’grits. Chicken is pretty generic, but there are many ways you can make it so it is very versatile. Pork…I love a pig pick. Whole pig roasted all day until it is fall apart tender and then you go pick what you want.
@RedDeerGuy1 Thinking back, I really didn’t care for any meat. From a very young age, I was disgusted by the idea of ingesting animal corpses. I guess that’s why the transition wasn’t a difficult one for me. After I’d made the commitment, I had no regrets and never looked back.
@mazingerz88 Both. To tell you the truth, most people in my country aren’t even socialized about the difference between Pacific and Atlantic salmon. They know salmon as simply salmon. This type of import fish is already pricy to begin with so when you get to eat it you don’t question its regional type.
I eat kosher only, but as I’ve aged, I want less and less meat. I also have the problem that if I think about the fact that I am eating an animal, I can’t eat it. If I think first, and start with vegetables, I am unlikely to eat meat.
