Are you asking why people want to believe that California or Washington use more renewable energy than Texas?
Are you also asking if the apparent bias has anything to do with the state’s Republican leanings?

They may have the most renewable energy generating resources, but they all connect to the grid that spans the country. So the answer is no.

I will have to check but @Tropical_Willie Windmills are the power source. Solar is around but not as prevalent.

@kritiper Texas is islanded their grid does not connect to the rest of the north American grid.

@ARE_you_kidding_me If true, not common knowledge, not like other states. But if so, the answer would still be no.

@stanleybmanly I was asking if it’s a fact that Texas practices green energy more than the states I listed, and if is fact that republicans are thought of not pro renewable energy.
