“Great Question” (3points)

From a strictly luxury tourist perspective, here. Mega fauna, and or other biological dangers would be kept at a safe distance for the prospective time traveller.

This time tourist is looking for the best weather, best beaches, cleanest water, best weather, most breathtaking views, coolest animals, best trails, most epic hikeable landscapes.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it depends.

I would like to visit Africa before European colonization.

And Egypt in the time of the Pharoahs, if I could be seen as someone who would be allowed to travel and be hosted and if I could speak the language.

I’d like to visit Rome when it was doing well.

I have long wanted to see a Triceratops.

If it has to be in the past, it would be the period right after that planetary collision ripped a huge chunk out of the planet, and when the newly forming moon and earth are doing their post collision dance whole both collect their debris.

My dirty city was America’s cleanest city for decades, but that’s hard to imagine now.

I would like to see some of the familiar places in my city as they were about 1930, or maybe 1929 before the crash. I’d do a heckuva lot of exploring familiar streets and neighborhoods

I am an imprisoned fan of modern conveniences.
I afraid I wouldn’t be happy visiting very far in the past.

I am quite sure visiting past times seems far more romantic to people who have never used a little, wood outhouse.

Simpler times for me are tarnished with memories of the very inconveniences which propelled science and inventions forward.

Ancient Sumeria, maybe pre–Colombian North America.
