Yesterday.
My hub makes me laugh like that easily. He uses that skill like a weapon too. Often in places where loud outbursts are inappropriate.
I can be feeling like death and he can still break me up.

@lucillelucillelucille I have that affect on the wife too. I know exactly when to push her buttons & she always tries to fight it at first, but just a little look from me & she melts into quite hysterical laughter.

I sometimes get a slap too afterwards, but that’s fair enough probably.
It’s fantastic in a relationship when you can make each other laugh even after so many years.

@ucme -I couldn’t agree with you more. 22 years and this has not changed for me:)

Gosh…my grandkids make me howl. My husband is funny. But the last time I laughed so hard that I almost cried? I’ll have to get back to you on that.

I had to go into my stories of the kids growing up to get some inspiration.

My son was notoriously accident prone. He just got himself into the damndest fixes because he didn’t stop to consider the consequences.
Well, one evening he was invited to eat dinner with a friend.
I got a phone call from the friend’s mom. She said, “Chris doesn’t want to eat. He’s acting like he’s afraid of the food!”
He was not a picky eater, but I asked what they were having. She said “Fish stix.” Well, he liked fish stix, so I asked to talk to him.
I said, “Hey son. What’s up?”
He said, “She asked if I wanted tarded sauce and I said I needed to ask you first.”
LOL! The one time in his young life that he showed some discretion and it was over tartar sauce!!

My mom and I get so tickled we cant breathe quite often.

Shes on different chemo that messes her bowels up, and we’ve had a few laughs that lighten the whole cancer thing. Keeps you sane.

@KNOWITALL Bless her, but you’re right, laughter is good medicine for the soul.
