Are there any Democrats here or that you know of that think Trump is innocent of this Impeachment thing?

Fright wingers we already know that you think the Don Father is innocent, but feel free to add your 2 cents worth if you must.

I sure don’t know of any. But there are a bunch of life long ultra conservatives who are banding together with those of us who know he’s guilty.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Good to know.^^

Dutchess_III's avatar

They still don’t like Obama, but they agree that trump is an absolute horror.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

I am an outsider and he has been an absolute horror to Canada.
From sleazy crooked deals in his private life, his countless lies, I believe he is indeed guilty and should be thrown out on his ear ,but they won’t.

Even sleeze bags like trump get due process according to our Constitution. Like one of my FB friends said, “This is the living Constitution in action.”

I’m in a blue state and I’m
glad I haven’t met a Dem yet who thinks he is a victim.

@Dutchess Good, always vote your conscience. But what if a moderate Rep ran against Trump or instead, as may be? Think they’d stay or not? Serious question.

Sagacious's avatar

I know a bunch of dems who think the impeachment thing is pure BS and a political mistake!

Dutchess_lll's avatar

Well, @KNOWITALL, you only get 1 candidate per party to choose from. Which one is decided by the DNC and the END.
But to go with the scenerio, I would have no problem voting Republican. In fact I have voted Republican in the past. However, the GOP’s utterly disgraceful reaction to Obama’s election horrified me and I distanced my self as far away as I could. The fact that they have tolerated this disgraceful shitshow seals it. I’ll NEVER go back.

^^After Bush, never thought Republican voters could do worse. With trump, I can see there’s no limit to how low they are willing to go.

Decent Republicans who still possess a conscience and are real American patriots should start their own party and come up with a new name. They’re better off leaving the cult of trump aka their Great White Hope in Orange.

(I voted for Bush. Both times. I was stupid.)

^^Rove learned from the best. Can’t think of his mentor’s name right now but he used those dirty political skills to help Bush defeat McCain in the primary. How many trillions of dollars, American military and Iraqi civilian lives did Bush extinguished out of idiocy?

Dutchess_lll's avatar

Well he was a puppet. He wasn’t making the decisions.

Zaku's avatar

I don’t know of Democrats who think Trump shouldn’t be impeached… except possibly for fear of ending up with Pence.

I think he should have been thrown out shortly after taking office.

Dutchess_lll's avatar

He never should have been voted in in the first place. When I got word of the election results the next morning it was in my top 5 “Holy Shit” moments in my life.

Sagacious's avatar

@Zaku For what?

Dutchess_lll's avatar

I am also shocked he lasted this long. Guess our country takes the impeachment process very seriously, as the Constitution says we should.
LIGHTEN UP CONSTITUTION!!!

@Sagacious For numerous emoluments clause violations (e.g. having the Secret Service stay at his luxury hotels while going on golf vacations or anywhere else, having foreign diplomats stay there, and other profiteering and conflicts of interest – one organization has counted over 2500 such), for appointing corporate saboteurs as department heads of departments that inconvenience corporate profits, for endangering national security by non-stop giveaways to corporate greed in the form of abandoning environmental protections and participating in climate change denial, for violating fundamental principles with his executive orders such as the “Muslim ban”, for routinely habitually lying, and not even seeming to know or care what he’s talking about while supposedly doing his vowed duties, etc.
