It’s used in Indian cooking. I don’t think you’re supposed to taste it raw; it’s basically clarified butter. I doubt the difference when cooking with it would be perceptible.

If you melt it, soften it, add some whey, you can use it as a spread.

It comes in jars and is known as Ghee Whiz.

Wendy’s used to try to be chic and put some sort of special lettuce on their stuff. It tasted like grass and dirt.

You can clarify your own butter. It’s really good on lobster or crab meat!!!

They should be able to keep the ghee from eating the grass in stomach churners like the Sambo tale.
