What I’m asking is did you buy this over-the-counter, or did you get it through a prescription?
If it’s over-the-counter then the only thing you really need to worry about is taking too much (generally no more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen within 24 hours) and giving yourself liver damage. Acetaminophen by itself isn’t going to make you pass out or numb you.
However there is acetaminophen with codeine (an opioid), which is marketed under, and often referred to by, the brand name Tylenol 3. Just trying to get a clearer picture of which you took. Tylenol 3 cannot be purchased over-the-counter, and can only be obtained via a doctor’s prescription. At least that’s how it is in the US, but I kinda doubt Canada’s any different in regards to this.
