How to work out effectively in a few minutes?
I want to know some science based approach to working out on a regular basis.

Do 20 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, run ½ mile.
There is a free app that I use (although I ended up paying a few bucks for it). It’s called “7 minutes”.
Are you talking about high intensity interval training stuff?

Do a lot of planks, wall sits, balancing and stretching routines as well as high intensity cardio.
