Did you ever fix your light by touching or playing with it?

It fixes the light from time to time. It happened yesterday with my fluorescent lightbulb.

@RedDeerGuy1 Quite Often. in the past I however don’t own any fluorescent lights anymore.

If the connection is too loose, playing with it or touching it sometimes fixes it.

It sounds like a short to me. Some shorts in electrical wiring can cause fires. If you’re renting, you should contact your landlord.

It could be corrosion on the terminals. Jiggling it causes the corrosion to be pushed away, allowing electricity to flow.
