Has anyone let the Fluthergods know about the reappearance of an old bug?

“Great Question” (2points)

Instead of the little star, we’re seeing the word “points” appear next to lurve scores, and the GQ one is overprinting. This one recurs from time to time. Has someone let Ben know?

That problem appeared on my side when Ben fixed the last major problem we had. It lasted for only a few day & then everything went back to normal, so I assumed that Ben had finished tweaking the solution to that problem. I haven’t noticed the problem coming back.

Hmm. I didn’t have it then, but now it’s cropped up 2 or 3 days ago. I’m on a Dell laptop.

We haven’t gotten any reports of this issue. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies?

I’m encountering the problem on my MacBook, but not on my Windows PC. Weird.

At least that ads in a thread, within each answer (a major attack on this) site bug is gone.

Within the last 24 hours, I’ve developed the same problem!!! I’m using a Lenovo laptop.
Just noticed that my Fluther logo is missing as well

I’m on mobile on an Android tablet. A few of the little icons are missing. Beneath this box where I’m typing, there are the words “check your work, then…” There should be some small icon next to it, but it’s replaced with a tiny, meaningless block of color.

Now my page-top graphics and the side-panel wallpaper are missing.

This is all still an old bug.

Right now, I’m at the office on a desktop PC running Windows 10 using a Chrome browser, and everything is completely normal.

I see the small icon that was missing from my Android tablet. It’s a red circle with an exclamation mark in it.

On my tablet, everything looks back to normal now. Hurray!

On my laptop, it’s still messed up. Dr Jelly is missing as well & there’s an empty box next to the “Flag As…” Since yours has been fixed, maybe mine will follow shortly!!!

Is it a bug that the “Permalink” icon (just east of “Flag as”) wouldn’t be found unless it’s by accident?

On my laptop, the display is still missing some (but not all) graphics, as previously described. No improvement there.

By the way there are 2 places for “Flag as” one is in under each answer, (which my post above is about) the other, at the bottom right of the Question area, next to “Share Question

The Fluther logo at the top left is not there. I’m using a desk top, Firefox, Windows 7 It’s possible not being to post a question is one of the bugs

@chefl There are supposed to be two “Flag as” places because you can flag a question or flag a response.

“Which “Flag as” are you referring to?”

I don’t have the Fluther logo, and there are little pictures (place holders) all over my page. It’s been going on for days. I also can’t ask a question.

2 minuites ago I was able to post a question, I guess it got fixed, or something on my end got better.

@chefl Just saw your query. I was speaking of the “Flag as…” in the comments. Normally there is a little flag icon. While down, I had one of those “tic mark” boxes that did nothing. Everything seems back to normal…including Dr Jelly & Fluther Logo. Ben is the BEST!!!

@chefl You would use the “Contact the Mods” button at the top right and they can contact Ben if need be. There’s no way to contact him directly.

Uh-oh, new sightings, 5/28/22:

—Little icons next to Questions for You and Activity for You are missing.
—Paragraph mark at the end of posts, that you can hover over to get a time stamp, missing on some pages but not all.

And the banner is missing on mobile. I’m on an android tablet. Only the portion with Dr Jelly is there. The right side banner is blank.
