Anything with ginger helps—ginger tea, ginger cookies, ginger ale. I make chicken broth with ginger and garlic when I am sick. Also, I keep ginger candy at work.
Also tucking your thumbs in your palms and applying pressure helps. Splashing cold water on face and neck. Head between knees.
I vomit very easily so those are my tricks. Sometimes it is best to just let it out though.
