What is the difference between spiritual pain and emotional pain?

I think it’s a matter of degree.

I’m not sure there is such a thing as spiritual pain. Perhaps when the pain is great, it helps to describe it as spiritual to help convey the enormity.

If it helps to think of it that way, that’s good. I see no problem with using concepts to help ease pain.

Another term for spiritual pain is existential pain.

I kinda think these are the same thing? I may be wrong, but if my spirit is damaged so is my emotional state. That is a dark place you don’t want to be and you’ll do just about anything to stay out of.

Emotional pain is when someone breaks your heart. Spiritual pain, in my opinion, is make believe.

I don’t wince from the physical pain from years ago.
