I’m pretty sure that unflattering things are being said about me. That’s their problem not mine. Perhaps that’s their weakness if they feel the need to tear me down to build themselves up.
In 1990 at the Army’s 2 month long advanced NCO professional development course great efforts were made to “weed out the weak”. At one point a couple weeks into the course each sergeant was forced to write negative aspects of each other sergeant. Then then instructors got each sergeant into a private room and read all the responses. “OK sergeant. This is what your fellow sergeants think about you.”
All just another way to tear you down.
