^I don’t believe any of us don’t understand what the curriculum of “gender studies” should likely be.
However. To opine that men’s rights are equally considered, or represented, is a fairly ridiculous notion. Admittedly. The last time I took college courses was 1999. And that was BEFORE everything bad that ever happened, was because of a man…
I find it relevant that as an atheist, I have ZERO representation in any level of society.
It’s not that anything should be “done” about it, but most people agree that the most dangerous thing in the world is a 25–40 year old single male, with no future… That’s why we get things like ISIS, Boko Haram, or other swarms of rudderless, frustrated, young men.
In America, there is a huge problem with young boys. They have few positive male role models. Amongst other things, men are just supposed to power through whatever problems. There is a large opportunity for affecting the world through growing better people. But. We only try to help symptoms. Never the root problems.
People are NOT too smart.
Think of helping elephants, or whales. Great cause, right? Of course it is. But. If we helped the poor, suffering people surrounding our precious endangered species, they would take care of their own wildlife…
Nobody cared about animals in North America, until the population was wealthy enough to have the convenience of mortality.
