ALCS. I’m no fan of the state that elected Greg Abbott and Ted Cruz (apologies to any Texas Jellies), so I’m having trouble getting excited. I am, however, a huge fan of Dusty Baker, so I’ll go with Houston. The team’s cheating scandal ended a while ago.

NLCS. Phillies. There are so many exciting players on that team.

@Love_my_doggie I completely agree with you. I love Dusty and there is only one player left who was on the cheating thing. But I also love Bochy (as an ex-Padres manager). They were both Giants managers so that negative cancels out. But for me it’s the fact that Robert Ford is the Astros radio announcer and I once spent an evening with him pounding beers in a London pub.

Agree on the Phillies. They are a GREAT team and I love watching them. I’m just going for the Dbacks because they beat the Dodgers and are NL West.

I’m a lifelong Red Sox fan, but the Nationals are my N.L. team (I’ve lived in the D.C. area for many years). Some of the Phillies best, most-prominent players are former Nats.

Bryce Harper is fun. He’s always been quite the brat, but he was “our brat” for some years. Now, he’s Philadelphia’s brat, yet I continue to cheer for him.
