Or something else?

First, I try rinsing with water. Next I use my finger or a toothbrush with soft bristles.

Rinse and then brush. Always with a soft bristle toothbrush so as not to damage your gums.

When I brush my teeth I also gently brush my gums, and if it doesn’t gag me too badly, I quickly run my toothbrush across my tongue. You should brush your whole mouth – it cleans out “gunk” and stimulates blood flow. And @chyna‘s right – a soft brush is what dentists recommend.

Oxpeckers in winter, Ramona’s in summer. Which is the same answer for for your upcoming Q about the e it situation.

Ugh, typos…”remoras”. And “exit” situations.

If I’m out, I go to the bathroom and put warm water in my mouth and swish it around and spit it out. If I’m home, I do the same and then I brush my teeth.

Sounds like a personal problem with which I can offer no solution other than general oral hygiene.
