Any recommendations for diaspora fiction?
I really enjoy diaspora fiction, I have read some terrific stuff over the years from Joy Luck Club to The Namesake, and lately Cleeton’s displaced Cuban stories and Pari’s In The Time Of Our History.
I prefer the ones about communities in the fairly modern (20th and 21st centuries) United States, and the different priorities and foci of the generations, but I will be delighted to explore other times, other places.
Tell me what I should look into!
Thanks
