For Christmas I had to organize a party for the kids with my coworkers. It was a success and the kids had a good time. I am happy because I had been preparing for the party for months and I’m glad my ideas got picked up and I was the game guide.

Thanks @Mimishu1995 ! I’ve been getting together with friends for some meals and will be having a Mexican Christmas dinner at some other friends later today. yesterday, I had lunch out and then was an usher at the 4 p.m. “Christmas in the Barn” family service at my congregation. Relaxing this morning and reading by the fire.

Merry Christmas to you as well! As far as activities, yesterday I went to a morning service and an evening Christmas Eve service, and in between I went to lunch at a friend’s house. My family is not actually getting together until this coming Saturday, so today I am having a mostly lazy day around the house. Reading, doing a bit of crafting, even doing a little bit of housework, but only as much as I feel like doing. And I’m just getting ready to take a nap to top off my perfect day. This evening my football team plays so I’ll be watching the game while I probably do some more crafts.

Thank you, dear Mimi. It was an anomalous day for me, but not in a bad way. Music, lights, a beautiful Christmas tree, all accounted for. No snow in this part of the country, and I do miss it. We’ll continue our celebration tomorrow, with the traditional dinner and presents.

Great to know your party was a success. Those kids will remember it.

Thank you everyone for gathering around :) I’m glad you all had a nice Christmas as well. This Christmas was special to me because that was the first time I guided such a large audience. I hope that next year I can continue to spread joy to the next generation of students :)
