For me Egg nog, is still a novelty, and a treat.

I cannot think of anything else, of the top of my head. Except Fluther. Fluther answers my questions that come into my mind at all hours.

I’ll never get tired of state fairs, oceans – even just looking at them, beaches, camping, gazing at the night sky on a pleasant summer evening…actually, too many things to name. Many things still affect me like a kid.

@smudges I still like the food from fairs. Fried mini doughnuts, cold cola, pyrogies and kubbasa.

We have a “Cajun Festival,” every year at a local state park.
I’ve been going for 20 years. Except when I was really sick.
This year, will hopefully be my first one back, in 3 years.

They do it the Sunday after “The Cooper River Bridge Run,” so there are an extra like 40,000 people here. It’s everybody’s first sun burn of the year.

Going to the ocean, it is a two hour or more drive now. Growing up in Jr Hi, I could ride my bike to the ocean in 15 minutes.

Being at the coast (I live here now), but still.
Fruit juice still feels like a treat when I buy it, which isn’t all the time. Growing up we never had real juice, always Hi-C or something that came in a carton like milk but was orange flavored or punch flavored.

There is one guilty pleasure. When my wife leaves the house, I crank one of my Marshall amplifier clones all the way up and hit an open E chord.—Never gets old, they are paint peelers! \m/ \m/

Avocados. They may be on sale for 99 cents, but I will always be delighted to open a just-so avocado and feel lucky to have it. Mmmmmmm delicious.

IFor me, it’s not the eggnog, @RedDeerGuy1, it’s the eggnog ice cream! And in the fall, pumpkin pie ice cream!
