Any medication that brings nausea is terrible for me. I’ll take two weeks of congestion over an hour of nausea.
Recently I had a sinus infection and was prescribed an antibiotic that has a “black box” FDA warning for tendinitis. The nurse practitioner told me about it, but normally, I don’t have adverse reactions. Guess what – tendinitis was mine! Especially the Achilles tendon in my right foot, but also discomfort in my knees, elbows, and shoulders. It took three weeks before everything except my right foot to get back to normal. I was already dealing with tendinitis in that foot, so the drug made it worse. It’s getting better, but after six weeks, I’m over it!
