When classical music was written for orchestra does every instrument have its own music score?

Like piano, string and everything else?

Does say Mozart, need to be able to play every instrument that he includes in creating music?

You do not need to be able to play every instrument, you just need to know what it sounds like.

Question 1: Generally yes, each has its own musical score.

However, I have seen 1st violin and 2nd violin scores combined. And percussion, because often it’s the same percussionist.
