“Great Question” (1points)

It’s 2 months shy of the white Bronco chase, with OJ and friend being chased by the police.

Do you remember where you were when the gripping report was being played on the news?

Fuck that guy.
Yes, I remember exactly where I was. I was at work watching on a patient TV set.

I was in Blockbuster video with friends. It was on one of the TVs they had hanging from the ceiling.

I was at work and someone has one of those 5 inch black and white TV’s.
I’m not sad that he’s gone.

I do not remember it as I was only 2 years old. My parents certainly remember it, and like many Americans, followed every detail of the trial on TV. You just don’t have that kind of coverage anymore. There won’t be anymore trials or murder cases that everyone in the country is paying attention to. It’s a remnant of a bygone pre-internet age.

Rio Bravo Restaurant and Brewery at 515 Central NW in downtown Albuquerque (it closed in 1997). My buddies and girlfriend and I spent the summer going there, and I think part of it was they never carded my under 21 friends. It was a Friday, and I remember we were having our usual fun times and the chase was one of the many things that kept us amused.

I was watching television while nursing my two week old second son when the breaking news broke.

I was at home in LA getting ready for Fri night activities. Somehow* I knew to turn on the TV on a Fri evening to watch this spectacle.
*maybe from news radio on the way home.

I only remember being with my boyfriend at the time, and he watched some of the car chase and I could not have cared less. I also did not watch the trial.

I care about the people he harmed, but I am not interested in watching every detail, and I don’t understand the hours and hours of news coverage about his death. I keep turning the chanel.

Coverage was nonstop! Every detail, relevant or not, was paraded out every day. All because he was a wealthy celebrity, getting the most advantages from the system.

^Must’ve been a slow news week.

I was at my parents’ house in western NY. I was in town to visit my dad at his rehab facility. (Physical and occupational therapy) I was still married to my ex at the time and we talked on the phone through the last part of it, laughing like loons.
