I don’t know about spider’s, but I have heard of the bees knees.

I’m trying to imagine a spider saying its prayers.

They definitely have some kind of joint at their many angles, so why not call them knees? I am deliberately not looking up the formal definition of a knee.

Elbows! Spiders have elbows!

I’m with @snowberry on the “elbows” thing. I cannot fathom a need for spiders to kneel, but I can definitely see a spider’s need for elbows.

Spiders have eight legs and two joints on each leg which makes 16 knees by my reckoning.

I’m torn.

On one hand, they have legs. So the joint should have knees.

But now I’m pondering spiders kneeling.

@raum Perhaps they need them to do pliees?

Many spiders kneel when they’re dead…all of it’s legs curl under.

Maybe they’ve all danced themselves to death.

The question is, if a spider suddenly falls to its alleged knees, will you still vote for it in the election?

If it was the only Dem available,yes I would @LifeQuestioner. It could fall on its elbow and ankles and I’d still vote for it.

If memory serves, spider legs have 7 sections…NONE of which are labeled as knees. If you look close enough, spider legs look similar to crab legs. There are bendable joints but not labeled as knees.
