A website I love is missing this morning – it says: griddlers.net has expired and is parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com.
This site is based in Israel and I’m concerned. I’ve used it for 7–8 years and this is not normal. I had computer trouble this morning and want to make sure it’s not me. Would you check griddlers.net and see if it’s working for you? If you get the same results, any ideas as to why it’s not there?

They did not pay their domain bill
Thank you!
That’s weird because they’ve been around for years. I wonder if being in Israel has something to do with it.
Not sure how to describe it – it also has the names picross and nonograms. I guess you could call it a game, but I don’t really think of it like that.
whew it’s back! I was worried that for some reason it was gone for good. Somebody must have forgotten to pay the bill! :)
Thanks for checking @Blackwater_Park, and for your interest, @RocketGuy! It’s so nice to know that I can depend on people who will help with this sort of thing.
^^ I spend a lot of free time there, relaxing and figuring them out.
I just checked also, and it looks like it’s up and running. I haven’t been on there for a while but I do like those type of puzzles. I like the way they offer so many varieties on that website!
^^ Yes, they’re definitely the best site for that. If you want the full experience it’s $40/year; if an older adult it’s $20, and I think students get special prices. They’re rarely down and are responsive to emails. People literally all over the world play there. They show flags next to your nickname and score.
@smudges I know it’s been a little while since I went on there, but I don’t remember them charging. Do they still have puzzles available for free?
Yes, you just can’t save as many unfinished ones. If you pay you can save up to 50 and you get a few extra features. It may be 20 if you don’t. But definitely you can play for free. I’ve been going every day for 7–8-9 years. I have around 30 saved right now – ones that are too hard and I’ll work on at a later date. They’re not made by machine; the people who actually make them must be insane!
