What is is that you like about it? I like warm summer nights, when it is just reaching dusk at 9. I like the quality of light on a clear fall day. I like all the signs of new growth in the spring. I like wicked storms in the winter at the beach.

Spring and Fall are pretty close, but for me Spring wins. It always feels like a new beginning. I get the winter blues, so the first spring-like day brightens my outlook considerably.

@Magnus How nice for you. :0)
@Enzo Are you smoking it?
@ rossi No, they knew what I meant, they are being clever.

@Soap

I only did that once. But that gave me the munchies for pizza worse than any amount of pot ever did.

Autumn. The beginning of each new year.

Allie's avatar

Summer. What’s not to like? Sun. Warm. No school. Lots of friends home.

AstroChuck's avatar

Either rosemary or sage.
Oh, season, not seasoning!. In that case…

Summer, without a doubt. Spring is nice as well as it means that summer is just around the corner.
Winter is the worst. Autumn isn’t much better as it means winter is on its way.
I’m a warm weather kinda guy.

AstroChuck's avatar

Oh, damn. I now see that Enzo beat me to it.

Considering there are only two where I live I choose summer. I would love to live in a place that had all four seasons. Last night it froze here and the day before that it was in the 80’s. Why? I know there are fronts but come on.

Fall is usually great, though it was quite rainy this year. Winter flat out sucks here. Spring is OK but a bit wet. Summer is nice.

rossi_bear's avatar

is that weird hua jessturtle? it is kinda like Maine in away. if you blink then the weather will change. but we do have all four seasons here.

AstroChuck's avatar

Of course winter does have hot buttered rum going for it…

critter1982's avatar

Winter other than the fact that its dark all the time.

LostInParadise's avatar

Autumn. Fall and Spring are both pleasant times of the year. The advantage of Fall is that it is not followed by Summer, which I absolutely hate.

Autumn in New England.

Return of the cool weather (yaay long pants and sweaters)
Fall and Winter Squash (Turban, Delicata, Hubbard, Butternut, Chicago Warted)
Apple Cider Donuts (piping hot)
All the beautiful leaves (the reds are my favorite)
Sleeping with the windows open while under a quilt
Native Apples (Honey Crisp, McIntosh, Mutsu)

Conversely,
Winter in New England: Can be dark, cold, and bitter. I do like the snow.
Spring in New England: Can be nice, but blink and you’ll miss it.
Summer in New England: Hot, Humid, Sticky, Gross. Hate it.

Summer! No school. Beach. Rowing season. Friends. Bare feet. Beach. Sun. Warm. Shorts. Christmas. New Years. Ice creams in the park. Music festivals. Beach. Going brown. Being outside all the time. Barbecues in the backyard. Family day trips. Australia day. Triple J Hottest 100 countdown.

Autumn. For all the reasons cprevite listed.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Autumn. Everything is warm colors! Here, though, watch this!

cookieman's avatar

@MacBean: I don’t even know if I could live in a place that didn’t have a true Autumn.

We had Thanksgiving in SanDiego one year. It was surreal. My brother-in-law barbecued. It felt so odd.

elchoopanebre's avatar

Summer by an overpowering landslide.

No competition whatsoever. I’d rather be hot than cold in basically any situation whatsoever. (Maybe it’s because I was raised in freaking Louisiana).

defender's avatar

winter…dead trees, cold, damp, windy. GIFTS!!! MUAHAHAHAHAH…

bacnaib's avatar

I enjoy the transition between spring and summer, if you haven’t found a fling past may, june and the months to follow are sure to heat things up<3

haha wow that sounded like a cosmogirl horoscope!

but I love the newness of spring and the vibrant beauty of nature reaching its peak in the summer, catching the best of both worlds is breathtaking :)

Winter

It’s like a freaking swamp where I live in the summer time. I live in the subtropics.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Winter.
I love the snow, and the cold. There’s nothing like having a really heavy coat on and going to lie down in two feet of snow. I miss it so bad. I’m definitely going to move back one day. And the feeling of being cold and coming into a warm house after having a vicious painful snowball fight with your sister
